AEB312 PRICE ANALYSIS (2021 SEMESTER 1 FT)

Course Description:
This course provides an introduction into the principles of price analysis. The course will expound on the basic principles of consumption and production theory covered in AEB 212 to expose students to the role that prices play in allocating agricultural resources and products. The students will learn how seller and buyer competition affects prices and quantities of products produced and consumed and how products are allocated through time, space and form.

Goals of the course:
The course is designed to familiarize students with price and market analysis. Emphasis will be placed on the use of computer for statistical and regression analysis. As a result of taking this course, you will acquire tools for empirically analyzing prices, supply and demand conditions in various markets.
